Thakur RAJVIR SINGH, who belongs to the Royal house of Dundlod, in Shekhawati, Rajasthan
has been actively associated with tourism in Rajasthan since 1960 and who with his foresight  was instrumental in organising Royal Castle Tours in 1971 and thus opening new areas for tourists in Rajasthan like Shekhawati, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Kota, Bundi, Ranthambore and Chitaurgarh. At each place the tourist groups stayed at the palaces where dinner parties were arranged where the royal families graced the occasion.

Rajvir Singh in 1977 pitched the first tented camp in Puskhar and introduced the Pushkar fair to the world where Tourists could enjoy the most. Today it is one of the most popular fair in Rajasthan which is being attended by tourists from across the globe.
FIRST TO START ADVENTURE TOURS IN RAJASTHAN
 He also introduced the first Camel Safari Expedition from Gajner to Jaisalmer during March, 1979. It was a unique event in Rajasthan. Camel Safari has its popularity even today.
 In 1979 The first Horse Safari arrangements were made by Rajvir Singh which is also one of the most popular event in Rajasthan which tourists consider as a thrill. 
His contribution towards Tourism in Rajasthan has been immense by his creative drive to make the tourists enjoy the most out of the special Trekking Tours in the Aravali hills.
 In 1971 Rajvir Singh had taken a great initiative in getting Indian Airlines start their service sector in Jodhpur. The Ticketing and Handling affairs were being managed by Rajvir Singh during that period. The guest of honour as shown is Rajmata of Jodhpur.   
In 1977 Rajvir Singh had pitched the first camp which made pushkar fair a popular tourist destination and an event worth visiting. Even today it is a great attraction for tourists across the globe. Rajvir Singh provides one of the best services if you intend to visit Pushkar Fair of Rajasthan.
