JUNAGARH FORT
A magnificent fortress which has never been conquered.
The fort was built by Raja Rai Singh in 1593 A.D. He was one of the
popular generals in the army of Emperor Akbar. The
palace is constructed in red sandstone and marble,
it has picturesque courtyard with balconies

LALLGARH PALACE
An architectural brilliance in red sandstone, was built by Maharaja
Ganga Singh Ji in the memory of his father Maharaj Lall Singh Ji in 1902.
It was designed by Sir Swinton Jacob. A unique fusion of Rajput, Mughal and European
architectures. The palace has intricate latticework and filigree
work depicting superior craftsmanship.

DESHNOK (KARNI MATA TEMPLE)
It is 30 Km from Bikaner and is the shrine of Karni
Mata. She blessed Rao Bika and has been the titular
deity of the Bikaner dynasty.
It is a pilgrimage centre. The temple is made of white marble with silver doors
with images of Gods embossed over it
The temple is also famous for its holy rats who are
known as 'Kabas'. Sighting any white one is
considered to be very lucky. The temple walls have convenient
holes to permit a free passage-way for the Kabas and the roof has a wire grill on the top
which prevents the birds and other predators from harming the rodents.

GAJNER PALACE
The fabulous palace was built on the lake by Maharaja Ganga Singhji where he entertained his guests.

GAJNER WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Located on the Jaisalmer road is the Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary
is a haven to nilgai, chinkara, wild boar, black buck, flocks of
birds including migratory imperial grouse.

JAIN HAVELI BHANDESHWARI
The 15 Century Bhandeswari Jain Temple is one the oldest monument of Bikaner.
The temple is ornamented with beautiful mirror work, gold leaf
paintings and interesting frescoes.

SHIV BARI TEMPLE
Fortified by a high wall the temple is dedicated to Lord
Shiva constructed by Maharaja Doongar Singh during
the ninth century in the memory of his father Maharaj Lall
Singhji. It is about 6 Km. from Bikaner.
