national parks and sanctuaries which are the homes of
some of rare species of birds. The parks and sanctuaries
of Rajasthan attract many migratory
birds.

RANTHAMBOR NATIONAL PARK
Four hours drive from Jaipur, under the
district of Sawai Madhopur is Ranthambor, the tiger
reserve. Located in the Aravali Range of hills.
Exiting, adventurous& rugged routes are
traversed in Jeeps & Vans amidst the wild.
The Park has tigers, bears and dears, sambhars,
crocodile and varied bird life

KEOLADEO NATIONAL PARK
Situated in Bharatpur, one of the finest bird
sanctuaries in the world. There are more than 400
species of birds resides in the park. Different
migratory birds like the Siberian cranes from the
Arctic, Siberian Greyleg geese and other birds migrate
from Central Asia, Tibet and Afghanistan. It is a major
interest place for orthinologists and researchers,
who visit and stay here to study the behavior of
birds.
Tourists visit the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary to watch
colonies of spoonbills, storks, herons, pelicans, ibis
and carmorants.
